09 DAYS  WESTERN ARUNACHAL TOUR

Day 01. Arrive at Guwahati airport and later drive 4 hrs to Nameri National Park. Overnight at Eco Camp.

Day 02: . Drive to Dirang.(5,500ft). 5 hrs Dirang is one the most beautiful valleys of the region. Blessed with temperate climate, one can enjoy here many varieties of fruits like Kiwi,peach, apple, oranges etc. Stay at Hotel Pemaling /Similar

Day 03. After breakfast walk in the Monpa tribe villages, a day long excursion to Thembang(fortified village and UNESCO site) and Sangti valley. Overnight at Hotel Pemaling.

Day 04. Drive to Tawang.(10,000 ft) 5 hrs Cross Sela pass en route at 14,000 ft. This is also the site of the Indo China war of 1962. Visit the Nurarang falls and Monpa villages on the way.Varieties of rhododendrons and primulaes during April to July. Overnight at Hotel  / homestay

Day 05. Early morning visit to the 400 years old Tawang monastry.Attend prayers with the monks. After breakfast, visit to the Ane Gompa (Nunnery). Where  nuns spent their time in prayer and meditation. Afternoon visit to local market and crafts emporium etc.Over night at Hotel /homestay

Day 06. Early morning drive to Bumla Pass explore beauty of Bumla pass. Overnight at Hotel/homestay.

Day 07. Drive to Bomdila,(9000 ft) 6 hrs. This is  the district headquater of  west Kameng. and home  of the Aka (Hrusso), Miji(Sjalong), Monpa, Sherdukpen, and Bogun (Khawas) tribes. Craft centre , Monasteries, Ethnographic Museum, Emporium etc. are worth visiting . One can view various snow clad mountainpeaks from Bomdila including a bird’s eye view of Kangtoand Gorichen peaks, the highest peaks of the state. Overnight at Monastery guest house / Hotel Bonsia

Day 08. Drive to Guwahati(8 hrs). Overnight at Hotel Rains Inn / Pemaling

Day 09. Drive to Guwahati airport and fly out.
